ChartLabs Affiliate Terms

Version 2026-10-17

These terms apply when you take part in the ChartLabs affiliate program ("you", the affiliate). They add to the ChartLabs Terms of Service.

1. Joining

  • Anyone can apply from the affiliate page in the ChartLabs app. ChartLabs reviews each application and may decline it.
  • Your link and code earn nothing until ChartLabs approves you.
  • Joining is free. As an affiliate you get the affiliate dashboard. It does not include a ChartLabs subscription. ChartLabs may give you access to the platform as an affiliate and may end that access at any time.

2. Your link and code

  • Once approved, you get a link (chartlabs.io/?via=YOURCODE) and a code. ChartLabs sets the code. Codes are unique and not case-sensitive.
  • People can open your link, or type your code when they create their account.

3. Who counts as your referral

  • A referral is a new ChartLabs account created through your link or with your code. An account that already existed never counts, even if its owner opens your link or signs in through it.
  • When someone opens your link, the ChartLabs website stores your code in a cookie on their device for 60 days. If they create an account in that time, the account is your referral.
  • If they open another affiliate's link afterwards, the most recent link counts.
  • A code typed when the account is created counts over any link.
  • The referral is decided when the account is created and does not change later.
  • A link is only remembered in the browser where it was opened. If the cookie is blocked or deleted, or the person signs up on another device, the account cannot be matched to you unless they type your code. ChartLabs does not pay commission on accounts it could not match.
  • You cannot refer yourself. An account that belongs to you or that you control, for example one that uses your email address, a variation of it, or your payment card, is not a referral, and any commission on it is cancelled.

4. What your referrals get

  • ChartLabs may give people who sign up through you a longer free trial of up to 30 days, a discount, or both. ChartLabs decides what your code offers, and your dashboard shows it.
  • For a discount, ChartLabs sets a maximum and you choose your level up to it in your dashboard. ChartLabs also sets how long the discount lasts: the first payment, a number of months (at most 12), or every payment.
  • The discount is paid either by ChartLabs or out of your commission (section 5). Your dashboard shows which.
  • The discount applies to monthly and yearly plans. On a yearly plan, a discount for the first payment or for a number of months covers the first yearly payment only, and a discount for every payment covers every yearly payment.
  • A referral keeps the trial and discount your code offered when their account was created. Changes you or ChartLabs make later apply to new referrals only.
  • The discount applies to a referral's first subscription only. If they cancel and subscribe again, they pay the full price.

5. Your commission

  • You earn a commission on each subscription payment a referral makes: the first payment and every renewal, monthly or yearly, for as long as they keep paying and you remain in the program.
  • Your rate is shown in your dashboard. The standard rate is 20%. ChartLabs may change your rate, and a new rate applies to payments made after the change. ChartLabs will not set your rate below the discount you have chosen.
  • Commission is calculated and paid in US dollars, on the payment excluding VAT and similar taxes:
    • If ChartLabs pays the discount, you earn your rate on what the referral actually paid.
    • If the discount comes out of your commission, you earn your rate minus the discount, on the full price. Once the discount period ends, you earn your full rate on the full price.
    • If a referral's discount is higher than your current rate, you earn nothing on that payment. A commission is never negative.
  • There is no commission on purchases in the strategy marketplace, on payments of zero, or on referrals that break these terms.

6. When you are paid

  • Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it comes from, so refunds and disputes can settle. After that it becomes payable.
  • Once a month, ChartLabs pays your payable balance to the PayPal account in your dashboard, if the balance is at least $50. A smaller balance carries over to the next month. ChartLabs pays PayPal's fees for sending it.
  • Keep your PayPal address up to date. ChartLabs is not responsible for a payment sent to the address you gave.
  • ChartLabs may hold or refuse a payout it is not allowed to make by law, for example because of sanctions.

7. Refunds and chargebacks

  • If a referral's payment is refunded, or a chargeback on it is lost, before your commission on it is paid, that commission is cancelled. A partial refund reduces the commission in proportion.
  • If this happens after the commission is paid, ChartLabs takes the amount off your next payouts. Your balance can go below zero, and new commissions pay it back before anything more is paid out.

8. How you promote ChartLabs

  • Tell your audience that you earn a commission. Make it clear wherever you share your link or code, in a way they will notice, and follow the advertising rules that apply to you.
  • Describe ChartLabs accurately. Never claim that ChartLabs, or backtesting with it, guarantees profits, income, or passing a prop firm challenge. ChartLabs does not provide funding or trading accounts.
  • Do not bid on "ChartLabs", or on misspellings or variations of it, in search ads, and do not run ads that look as if they come from ChartLabs.
  • Do not spam. That includes unsolicited bulk messages, emails and comments, and posting your link where a community's rules forbid it.
  • Do not present yourself as ChartLabs or as speaking for it.
  • You may pass part of your commission back to the people you refer, for example through a cashback or coupon site. Only new accounts count, and you cannot refer yourself (section 3).

9. Leaving and removal

  • You can leave the program at any time by contacting ChartLabs.
  • ChartLabs can remove you from the program at any time, for example if you break these terms.
  • After you leave or are removed, you earn no new commissions.
  • If you leave, or ChartLabs removes you for any reason other than breaking these terms, everything you already earned is paid with the monthly payouts once its hold ends, minus refunds and chargebacks, even if it is under $50.
  • If ChartLabs removes you for breaking these terms, nothing more is paid to you. That includes your payable balance and commissions still in the hold.

10. Taxes

  • You are responsible for tax on your income from the program.
  • ChartLabs may ask for tax information and may hold payouts until you provide it.

11. Changes

ChartLabs may change these terms. ChartLabs emails you at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and the current version and its date are always at chartlabs.io/affiliate-terms. If you keep taking part after the change takes effect, you accept the new version. If you do not agree with it, you can leave the program before then (section 9).

12. Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law.
